Day 0 : Departure from Bangalore to Bandaje Falls Trek

  • Our trek to Bandaje Falls starts with a comfortable overnight ride from Bangalore in a spacious, non-AC vehicle equipped with pushback seats. Ensure you're well-rested for the exciting day ahead. Pick-Up Points for Convenience:

Day 1 : Trek to Bandaje Falls - Altitude: 4,895 ft | Distance: 19 km

  • Morning at the Homestay: Wake up in a place that’s suspiciously quiet compared to Bangalore's busy mornings. Breakfast is served; no, it’s not just idli, but also rice and some tea to kickstart your trek.
  • Depart from Sunkasale, stepping into greenery so lush, it might just make you forget about the city.
  • Next stop, Ballarayana Durga Fort. It’s old, deserted, and has enough stories to tell.
  • After reaching the Bandaje Falls, where water falls freely like a bungee jump without a rope. Unpack your lunch; eating beside a waterfall makes Puliogare / Pulav taste like a five-star meal.
  • Return journey to the homestay. It’s like going back home but with dirtier shoes, lots of pictures, friends, and a lighter heart.
  • Freshen up, gather around for high tea. It’s the perfect time for chai, pakoras, and get to know stories of other trekkers in the camp.
  • After a while, have dinner and retire for the night.
  • A bonfire night, subject to weather's mood swings. It's like campfire with potential ghost stories, laughs, roasts, and of course, games.

Day 2 : Return back home with Sightseeing along the way

  • We begin our day at the homestay, engaging in morning refreshment activities which include breakfast. This is followed by preparations for departure back to Bangalore, marking the end of the trek.
  • On our way back to Bangalore, we take the opportunity to visit some of Karnataka's profound historical sights:
  • Our first stop is at the Belur Temple, a masterpiece of Hoysala craftsmanship. This temple stands as a testament to the artistry and architectural prowess of the medieval South Indian era, providing us with a deep insight on the region's historical narrative. 
  • For lunch, we opt for a self-sponsored meal, allowing us to explore the local cuisines along the way. 
  • We aim to arrive back in Bangalore by approximately 10 PM, marking the end of Bandaje Falls Trek. Returning home, we carry with us not just memories of the trek we've witnessed but also a deeper appreciation for Karnataka's history and cultural treasures..
